1990 Part 2

Rough World (AKA Journey to Silius AKA Terminator AKA RAF World AKA [rʌf] World) doesn't look too different from the final release in these pics. Perhaps a colour changed here or there. The interesting thing about these pictures is that the hero's image is the same as the US release, not the Japanese release, where the hero wears a helmet and is less cute.

Here's R-Type II on the Super Famicom, before it became Super R-Type. This is still the first level, and it still has those 3 elevator things from the arcade game. They were removed in Super R-Type.

Here's Solomon's Club on the GameBoy. I don't know about the rest of the game, but the title screen is totally different from the release version.

Here's a strange unreleased RPG/Platformer named "DaiMaOu Zark Densetsu", I think. It seems to be related to the other unreleased RPG named Off Zarken.

Here's the great Over Horizon, looking a little different from its release version.

I'll translate the Japanese for you. It says, "I love the Power Glove. It's so bad." Uh, never mind with the rest, then.

Here's a news story on maniac game collectors. The guy on the bottom collects retro (by 1990 standards!!!!!) systems and arcade PCBs.
