Here are some funny comics containing some sometimes merciless humour. This
series could be called "Why systems failed."
They run vertically, by the way.
I'll transcribe some of the text from each of them; they're just too good to
miss.
1) "Hi, I'm Disk-Kun! You can save games and save money". But time
went on and bigger games with battery save data came along, and sent the Famicom
Disk System quickly off to Game Hell.
2) Don't cry over dead systems like your Sega Mark III and Betamax VCR. Life
goes on and better systems have come along. It's time to grow up!
3) 1st caption: PC-Engine Super Grafx: This is amazing!!! 2nd pic: the colour
fades... 4th pic: BIG, EXPENSIVE, UNCOOL!!! That is not the way to make money!
4) Game Boy (in Japanese): "GEMU BOI DEeeSU!" Lynx (in English): "GOOOD
MORNING TOKYO! MY NAME'S LYNX. I'M VERY CLEVER!". 2nd caption: Game Boy:
"But Tetris is fun, right?" Lynx: "HAHAHA! Black & White
graphics are lame, etc.etc..." 3rd caption: they continue to fight then
the Lynx sudenly stops. 4th caption: Lynx's batteries are about to die.

Amiga computers were not extremely popular in Japan, but they did have a dedicated following. Here is a review of the new (!) Amiga 1200 from "Backup Technique" magazine.

And some cute Amiga fan-art, Japanese-style!

Here's a fun little trick. Try reading both Japanese words.

(Hint: they are characters from Konami/Capcom games.)
